Subject: MINIs at LeMay Car Show T-shirt and Grille Badge Design Contest

Hello Members:

We have decided to have a T-shirt and Grille Badge design contest for this year’s MINIs at LeMay Car show. We know that there are some very creative people in this club and wanted to invite all of you to participate.

The deadline for submissions will be 5pm July 7^, 2009. At which time the car show committee will decide on the design. This year we intend to pre order the T shirts and grille badges in an effort to provide more choices such as color of shirt, size (including youth), and men’s or women’s cut shirt. The design will be posted on the PS MINI website to allow three weeks for the membership to order according to their wants and needs.

The color of shirts chosen will be driven by the design (which this year includes color). However there are some parameters that all designs must meet to be in the contest. The grille badge and T-shirt do not have to be the same design. An artist that wants to design only one or the other can submit that design for consideration. You do not have to design both but we encourage you to do so.

So what is in it for you? The winner will receive:

The T-shirt winner will receive a free T-shirt, 2 passes to the LeMay Museum, and a year membership to PSMINI.

The Grille Badge winner will receive a free grille badge, 2 passes to the LeMay Museum, and a year membership to PSMINI.

If the same person wins the T-shirt and grille badge contest, they will receive both prizes. Not to mention some serious bragging rights.

Design Parameters:

The design for the T-shirt:

1) Cannot contain more than 3 colors (including black)

2) Will be placed on the back of the T-shirt

3) Should include PSMINI or psmini.org (this recognizes our club as a sponsor)

4) Include the event date August 15, 2009. (the format 08/15/09, Aug 15, 2009, etc is up to the designer)

5) May include the LeMay logo (it will be available for download from the PS MINI site to insure consistency)

6) Must not include any vulgar objects or inferences (remember this is family friendly)

7) Must be submitted in vector format (this enables us to size the design without distortion)

8) Any MINI wings must be a likeness as not to violate any trademarks

9) Must be submitted by 5pm on July 7, 2009 (we will provide instructions for submission, such as FTP site or disc, as we get closer to the deadline)

The design for the Grille Badge:

1) Does not have a limitation on the number of colors

2) Should include PSMINI or psmini.org (this recognizes our club as the sponsor)

3) Include the event date August 15, 2009. (the format 08/15/09, Aug 15, 2009, etc is up to the designer)

4) May include the LeMay logo (it will be available for download from the PS MINI site)

5) Must not include any vulgar objects or inferences (remember this is family friendly)

6) Must be submitted in Adobe Illustrator eps format with outlined fonts. ( “outlined fonts” is a process of saving fonts in the file)

7) Any MINI wings must be a likeness as not to violate any trademarks

8) Must be submitted by 5pm on July 7, 2009 (we will provide instructions for submission, such as FTP site or disc, as we get closer to the deadline)
