If you don't take Pat up on his nice offer the club member give high praise to Zahntech.

If you are interested in doing the work yourself, I have the tools and will guide you thru the process.  You get the dirty hands but get the great feeling of working on your car and getting the job done right.  Got some occasional helpers that come over as well.  Everybody has a pretty good time.  Weekend days are the best if you are so inclined.

I was informed by NW MINI during my last inspection that the cooling fan is not working in Stage 1, which is - as I understand it - low speed, radiator cooling only. Unfortunately they want to charge me over $600 for the repair/replacement.
The fan assembly itself is under $100 online (TYC GENERA Part # 621080 {#17101475577, MC3115102}(FROM 3/03) SINGLE; 17 11 7 541 092), and I've seen instructions online regarding how to do the replacement. I'm just not tech savvy enough or comfortable with doing the work, so I'm looking for a reputable Puget Sound shop to handle it for me.
I would like to support a shop that supports the club, because that type of loyalty deserves my loyalty in return. Also, I live in Tacoma but I'm willing to go north, south, east (or west!) to support a shop that can help me keep my '03 with 82k miles running smoothly.
