Registration for the 3rd Annual PSMINI TRIPLE-X CAR SHOW is NOW OPEN!

When: September 25, 2011
Where: Triple-X Drive-in, Issaquah, WA

Who: All Owners and Lovers of MINIs & Minis!

 

 

Registration/setup:    8:30am - 9:30am
Showtime:                        10:00am - 2:00pm
Award Ceremony:         3:00pm

Pre-registration before Thursday, September 22, 2011:  Only $15.00
per vehicle
Day of show / on-site registration:   $20.00 per vehicle

 

There will be trophies and door prizes!


Last day to register on-line for $5 discount is September 22nd. Register early/online for a $5 discount per car, as well as the opportunity to buy an event grill badge for only $6.00! That’s $1.00 off the show price!

A motorsportreg.com account is required to register online. If you don’t have one already, follow the prompts create your free account. We encourage you to register online prior to the event date, as this helps us to allocate resources for the event and saves a lot of work for the volunteers.

·      We also need volunteers on the day of the event. There is a section in the registration process where you can indicate how you would like to help out. Volunteers are requested to arrive by 8:00am.

·      Remember to bring cash for your meal at Triple-X -- they don't take checks or plastic money!

Our Annual MINI show at the XXX Drive-in is going to have a coming-out of sorts.  Kellen from Cravenspeed has just told me that he is bringing the new All Electric MINI to the show.  MC2 will be there for pictures and the first press drive of the Electric MINI.  This will be the first introduction of the Electric MINI to the MINI community according to Kellen.
 
This sounds exciting.  Register now.

I can't wait to see that Craven electric MINI. This is a custom built MINI. (Sorry, it's not for sale or on offer from MINI USA...yet).
Since it's custom, I bet he has room for extra batteries when he wants to have more range. (Why can't that be an option for production electric cars?? )

Weight probably.  And batteries are expensive.  Although I'd like to know the miles-per-battery cell for a given electric car.

Lj - All kinds of MINI's are encouraged to join in the show - It really isn't about competition, although there are trophies awarded.  Mostly it is a chance to put your MINI on display, see lots of other MINI's, get to know other people in the club and talk to spectators who are looking for MINI information.  Fun way to spend a day and celebrate MININESS.    COME ON DOWN!

Lj - Hope you will consider participating - Like all of our events, it costs the club money to put on the show - and it is the emtry fee that helps ofset the cost of these events.  Of course, if you chose not to participate, you can park with the general public / spectators.  There will not be a separate area for Non-particiapating MINI Parking.

Jack is right- please consider entering your car.  I always enter mine and my wife enters hers when we go to the ABFM, the XXX show and it predecessor, MINIS at LeMay.  They're very lightly personalized, barely modified (no fast bits added, really) and probably could both use a respray and a good detailing.  We just clean them up and show them anyway.  Why do we do this when we'll never win?  Because we love our cars and want to show them off.  If there's potential MINI owners at the show, we want them to see the full range of cars available and to show that the club is not just about modifying and buffing your car (I'm looking at you, Louis!) but also about the socializing and driving.

The "TOW MATER" (of "Cars" fame) Replica will be there!
You can have a souvenier picture taken and part of the proceeds will help support L.E.O., our designated charity.

Is Cravenspeed going to spend the night somewhere between Portland and Issaquah to recharge the vehicle or can they drive it there on one charge?

Stephen, Kellen is bringing the electric car on a trailer.  However he will need access to an outlet so he can charge during the show.
 
Lj and Starbug, glad you are both entering your cars.  It's all about seeing your bright shiny MINI parked next to all the other MINIs, and talking to the other owners/enthusiasts.  Look forward to seeing you at the show.
