Yay!!! Somehow, I get a wireless connection (not sure from where).  Thank you again Brenda for your help.  You are very nice.  After I take my car to the service tomorrow, I will take some pictures of the wheel, and hopefully I know how to post them here, or in the market place area, so you can take a look of the wheels.

Tina told me that she doesn't have internet at home, so she most likely won't be able to reply until tomorrow morning. 
 
I think the best bet for her would be to find some smaller wheels with tires to replace what she has.  Although, maybe she should just replace the tires with the same size she has on there now? Confused  Surely Discount Tire or another tire store would be more reasonably priced?  Then again, I paid almost $800 (mounted and balanced) for the Yokohama tires I have on my MINI currently.  I imagine the tires for the 18" wheels would even be more expensive?  I'm gonna have to check on the fitment now that johnf36 jogged my memory on that.  I wish I would've thought of that when I saw her MINI earlier today.  The wear pattern on the current tires she has on there are uneven.  It was recommended that she get an alignment (which I agree as well).
 
John - I did notice that her car doesn't have the upgraded JCW brakes.  It's just the JCW wheels that look like this:

Good point on the lug bolt and wheel hole size John. I forgot about that. I had the same issues when changing to the replacement locking lug bolts. The MINI dealer sent me the wrong size twice. Which reminds me.... I still have that locking lug bolt set that won't fit. Good to see your getting things worked out Tina. Just a couple of things I believe you car has 14mm bolt holes not 12mm like the gen1 cars do so that is some thing to find out if you come accross used rims. Second you my ask NW Mini what is the smallest rim you can go to so that they will still clear the brakes.

I like Gumby's idea too!  Love the Wind-up key idea! I've seen one on a Smart car in the recent past, so the keys must be around, or maybe they made theirs.  It all sounds like FUN!

If you can get a photo of the 18" wheels, you might have luck selling them on this site under the Marketplace area of the forums.  Those JCW wheels are pretty awesome....

Many may have already read this; but if not - this is one of the most enjoyable books for anyone who loves Dogs and Cars:
 
The Art of Racing in the Rain: A Novel by Garth Stein
 
$10 on Amazon.
 
This is a 'slice of life' book written from the point of view of a YELLOW LAB. (Somehow - the guy really captures what you could expect a dog actually thinks about life.) The other protagonist is a guy who is skilled at racing/driving in adverse conditions (i.e. the rain).
