Subject: Volunteers Needed To Help With H1N1 Mass Vacinations!

Dear RSVPS,

Volunteers are needed to assist the Snohomish Health District at the
Vaccination clinics in Everett and throughout Snohomish County.  These
clinics will be open to the public and are scheduled to run on
Saturdays, starting October 31 and continuing into December.  These clinics will be
for WELL people who choose to get vaccinated against this particular strain
of influenza at no cost.  (By the way, volunteers will be put in the
priority group of Emergency Responders and may get their vaccine that day if they
wish.)

Although trained medical clinic staff will be doing the actual
vaccination, we need other people to direct people to parking spots, greet people,
assist with paper work, help people find where they need to go, and a variety
of other tasks.  No medical background is needed to help although if
someone has medical background, there may be some specific tasks for volunteers
to fill.   And we are especially in need of people to act as translators for
Spanish, Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Arabic and other languages.

We may need as many as 100 volunteers to help at various locations and
on various days.

October 31 ? 112th Street Clinic, Evergreen Middle School, Stanwood,
Monroe & Marysville & the call center (Need lots of volunteers on this date)

November 7 in Sultan & South Everett (Evergreen Middle) -- & call center
November 14 in Marysville-- & call center
November 21 in Monroe -- & call center
December 5 in Sultan -- & call center

We know we will need people at the clinics themselves on those
Saturdays, but also at a Call Center that will be set up at Paine Field at the
Snohomish Department of Emergency Management Emergency Operations
Center.  On-the-Job Training will be provided for all volunteer positions?
whether at a clinic or at the call center.  The Call Center is scheduled to open on
Monday, Oct. 26th and may be open for two consecutive weeks.

If you are available to volunteer at the clinic sites or at the Call
Center, please contact me as soon as possible.  We need your help!
Thank you.
