So, things being a little slow on the PSMINI Forums, I went back and reread our posts from our August 2007 MINI trip from Key West Florida to Point Roberts Washington in WOODSTOCK. That was a great trip. If you are bored, it might give you something to do: http://www.psmini.org/forum/woodstock-road-report_topic2386_page1.html

I love that story as well. Especially the part about Linda forgetting her passport. How often could you get away with that?

Good story about a very fun trip sounding trip.
You discovered, as Lee and I did, that we live in the best place for all sorts of reasons. The gas costs more here and the driving is slower but what the heck, the people are nicer and the weather is tops! We are going to go back to Keystone and explore that park more. Mt. Rushmore, as we discovered, is just scratching the surface of possibilities for great roads. Thanks Jack & Linda for this Thread! |

I wish there was a local MINI Dealership, like our Honda, Subaru, Mazada and VW.

16 and 16A just to the south and east of the Mt. Rushmore monument are amazing. Linda's description of 270 degree turns means they had to have been on that road between Keystone and Wolf Camp. When we went through it's one of the only times I've seen Stacie and Elliott a little green while on the twisties!
