Justin & Deanna & Carole:

Thanks for an awesome run today!  Great job herding us around and the route was just awesome!  Twisties all day long and a fun lunch after - not sure they knew what hit them at the Longhorn, but I think we made their day.  Bread store was yummy yummy too.

I had so much fun and have to plan to take Jack on the route.  It's well worth repeating!

Sorry I missed the run - and seeing all the folks who turned out for this one.  Linda has been raving about the drive and I'm looking forward to a rerun.  Thanks to the organizers and all who were able to participate.

It was really great meeting everyone today! We had 17 MINIs traveling a route around Lake Padden and Lake Whatcom - some really great scenery. A lot of people were waving to us as we went by.

Here's a few photos!

THANKS to Carole for initiating this great run! And to the ZIPPY crew for a fantastic, fun route! I'm so happy that the weather didn't spoil our day. I'm gonna have to make this run again as there was some beautiful scenery that begged to be photographed.
It was so great meeting some new (to me) people and visiting with all my MINI friends!  What beautiful MINIs!  CINIMIN, we missed you!

Here are a few of my pics from the day.

OK, I haven't gone through the photos yet but here's some video I got.
Taken with my GoPro HD camera... the camera conked out 25 minutes into the drive and missed the good stuff! Arrgh! Loose battery? Bad SD card? Not sure yet...

Well anyway, here's the footage that I was able to get. . .

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the drive. Maybe next year a bit earlier so the leaves are still on the trees.

Great pics everyone!  (Carole:  I moved yours here so you could be in with all the rest!)  Also love the video, Kurt.  Very nice!  Loved watching (and hearing) you and Rob 'getting it on'!  Do you have a remote inside that allows you to start/stop, etc?  Cool setup.

Wow what a great drive and scenery and no rain. Thanks to Carole & Zippy & crew for a fab job and great hand out directions. Know it was allot of hard work on you all planning and hope you too were able to enjoy the drive with us.

Great photos, Carole & Genie and loved the video Kurt. Now I know why you passed us on right. LOL

BTW the waitress at Longhorn said a customer asked why there were so many mini's. Rob told her
about the club and how far some of us had driven to meet up with the Bellingham members.

So many thanks to everyone.

BTW, Our Leader and Closer did great jobs at keeping us all together. ClapClap

Here's one more pic I liked of the MINIs, taken in Edison.

Linda: No, I don't have a remote start/stop switch. I imported the entire video into a video editor and cut out the boring bits.

I had a really good time!  Thanks again to Zippy for mapping out the route.  I agree that we should do it again next year. Perhaps on a nice summer day. It was so great meeting everyone and having faces to go with names. Now if I can just remember everyone's names Big smile
