 Sad to say, we are out. We always enjoy getting together for a parade on the 4th, but after 2 surgerys for Lucy in as many days we need to be home to keep an eye on her for a few days and won't get her back until tomorrow at the earliest.LOVE the decorations you did, Dave! Go for it! We will miss seeing all of you, but have a 'BLAST' for us!

I've lost count of the cars, but is there room for LMNCELO?
I've got a MINI, some decorations, and my "mini" bike.
I read the Directions, hope I can find this place. (Total south-ender)

Byrne - what should we do about the following? Have we been assigned a color code? Do you have any paperwork or anything to indicate that we have already pre-registered?
"Staging area is in the UW-Bothell Parking Lots. Parking lots are color coded to reflect your parking lot assignment. The number reflects your order within the parking lot. Pre-registered cars may drive up the left lane to the assigned lot. Vehicle MUST be decorated. Watch for our signs directing you to your position." |

I'll still miss you WOODSTOCK, and at the moment, I'm not much of a representative for convertibles. Soon after a 1,500 dollar repair job on the top, now it doesn't go down at all.

May I have a more exact address? I'm totally a southender and would appreciate an address or intersection with street number and/or name. All I read was a drop-off area for "participants" in "walking units". I will be driving up by myself. I'm thinking I have about a 90-min drive to the meeting point. |

The location is UW Bothell campus - Google Maps will show you this.
Probably easiest way to get there is to proceed north on I-405 and take the Beardslee Blvd exit (EXIT 24) - this is the first exit after the SR-522 interchange. It comes up fast after you go under the interchange. Stay in the lane to the right of the passing lane (two lanes over from the carpool lane). Turn left at the end of the offramp. Go across the freeway and get onto Beardslee Blvd. Approach the campus (probably) from 110th Ave NE. There will probably be signs out. If you look at Google Maps you can see a large parking structure to the south of the campus, but I think the parade instructions specified to use Beardslee to approach the campus. I-405 to exit 24, Beardlee Blvd. Turn towards Bothell (WEST) and you're there. I'd be there by 10:45, myself, as each car has to register. We're going to decorate @ the staging area.

It was a fun parade! I'm only sorry I didn't get much of a chance to mingle with my MINI friends.
 I was too busy decorating my MINI. Next time I need to show up earlier so I can socialize.
