Good turnout for a liesurely drive around Camano Island followed up with a good Lunch / Breakfast at the Diamond Knot Lodge where a few tried the "cook your own meal on a hunk of hot rock right at the table".  Everyone seemed to have a good time and I don't think anyone left hungry!

Elliott and I had a great time- I'd never been on that road around the island.  Sorry for only the one picture but my picture taking co-pilot was busy today.  Here's the group at the Smokey Point rest area- it was a pretty good turnout for a run put together on short notice:


OK- gotta get back to work on CUPC4KE (the car) now...

Can you share the route, or is it a simple, look-at-a-map thing?

We had a great time!!! Loved the lunch! Thank you Jack and Linda for leading us on a great drive around the island! I've never been there, but DO plan on going back and doing the hot stone lunch again soon!!

Thanks to Bruce and Elliott, Cupcake and Yonder were able to make it to Tulalip to try our luck at Meerkat one more time... We walked away winners..

Looking forward to more fun runs with the club!

For those who went on this drive:  I just did a Griot's number on my car to clean it up but noticed smeary tar streaks all over the windshield, plus not one but two new dings, and a small piece of basalt still stuck on to the hood between the wiper blades.  Check your windshield/hood carefully and make sure you remove the tar. 
5 race wins, 2 in the rain. 2nd in ICSCC G Production Championship 2005 and 2006. Now I'm just gonna drive the MINI.
