Okay I am having a heck of a time finding the club logo thread where we made the finial choice. I am wondering when will we get this inked ?
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

Yes, the LOGO has to happen before grill badges can be made, and we all know how many HP a grill badge addsWink

Thanks for the laugh, Ken!  I enjoyed those.

 
Ok, I got a little busier over Christmas and after and didn't get the word out.  Here's the deal:
  • You voted on the submissions
  • Roy's design won
  • We went to a pro (Craig / Cooperation) to help us clean up the design and get it into a form that we could use for all the forms we wanted
  • We went through several iterations and designs, back and forth, and even solicited additional opinions on several options
  • Couple more iterations and then gave it to the board for final selection and approval

Then, we found we weren't specifically enamoured enough with any of them to move forward with any of the final versions.  We were under-whelmed and there wasn't anything that knocked it out of the park for us. 

So, we're taking the design requirements to 3 different graphic artists and asking them what they would do if they were creating a logo for us.  We should know that fairly soon, but as I said, I got a little busier than planned.
 
I know this has been a long process and I know it has dragged on, but I want something as bad as you all do and we'll get it done within the next couple of months and I promise we'll have more swag!  Sorry for the delay.

Thanks, Linda and the Board for all of the time and thought you've put in on this.  Getting these projects right can be very time-consuming. Sounds like we'll have PSMINI swag to proudly display when the driivng-playtime season gets into full swing.  WooHoo

I had the privilege to see and vote on the designs at the club picnic last summer. There were many great designs submitted. I had a tough time deciding on which one I liked best, so I can understand how difficult this process is. Then getting the design made into a decal or a grill badge is another thing… 

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project. I can hardly wait for the final product(s) to be completed but understand you don’t want to rush something that’s going to represent PSMINI for many years to come. I will attempt to wait patiently, but the suspense is hard to take…
