Coffee, Motoring, Lunch & Pumpkin Patch - Event Date: October/16/11

Come join us for coffee (or tea in my case) at the Safeway Starbucks in Graham at 10am. Address: 10105 224th Street E. We'll DEPART at 10:30am and continue on for a fun drive near Alder Lake, Eatonville, the Ohop Valley, and down into Orting for lunch at 12:30pm. After lunch we'll head to Spooner Farms' pumpkin patch in Puyallup. http://www.spoonerfarms.com  

I've made 12:30pm reservations for 40 people for lunch at the Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant in downtown Orting. I talked with the manager and was assured they have seating for up to 100+ people. Cash or credit is fine. Separate tabs have been okayed by the manager. There will be a buffet lunch or regular menu available. Please let me know how many are in your MINI so I can have an accurate headcount for lunch. 

I realize there may be those who may not like Mexican food. There are other eatery choices within a block or two of where we're stopping for lunch, so I would not be offended if you'd rather make a dash to Route 66 Pizza, McDonalds, Subway, etc. We will re-group at 1:30pm and continue on to the Spooner Farms pumpkin patch which is about a 10-minute drive away. I will bring printouts of the driving route as well as turn-by-turn directions with mileage. If you have them, please remember to bring your walkie talkie radios. I have a couple I'd be happy to loan if needed. We will be on the national MINI talk channel: 7-21  *Estimated drive time and mileage: 1 hr. 55 mins. and 62 miles (includes one "pit stop")

Steve and I are pondering a fun trivia game based on the route. This short questionnaire will be administered at lunch time, so be sure to eat your Wheaties.  I'll be putting together a little "prize" to the MINI motorer that answers the most questions correctly.
