Ed that is your call you know how you drive your car. Do you have a full hole showing on your tensioner?

I have 21,000 miles and not due for service. Any problems getting tuned without servicing first?

Spy Vs Spy. Nope not as far as I have heard and it is my understanding that if by chance Mini knocks out your tune with an update Jan will send a copy of your tune to reload.

Ed it is kind of hard to follow what you are describing but it sounds right. You had Zantech do your pulley right?

Sent emails to Jan and left phone messages. Haven't heard back yet. Speedfactory is only opening at 9:30!? For an event like this I think they should open at 8:00AM. The also said they close at 6:30, I've slotted cars at 6:30 otherwise we only have 6 cars a day at 1.5 hours per car.
Last time Jan was hear they did like 8+ cars in a day. Need to talk to Jan about the following:
Speedfactory opens at 8:00
Time allotment is 1 hour per car. This should be OK since some of the R53's are retunes.
Spend another day here to tune cars. Thurs or Sunday. (stay for the PCA day on 7/29)
Until payment instructions are given and deposits received I would consider time slots as "requests" until "confirmed" by payment.
I know there are more people that expressed interest so I'll try to do the best I can to get more cars done during the days Jan is here.
Cheers!

Thanks Greg for taking this responabilty on for this event. I believe we have 2 more 56s and 2 more 53 that would like to do this event.
I agree the easest way would be to get the doors open sooner. But like Clint said being ready is a big help to which we have full control over. And can improve on from the last event. John |

Aw shucks, I'm going to have to cancel out on the tune.
That leaves 5PM Friday open for anyone else who wants to get in. Enjoy, Rick Edited by OldRick - June/22/09 at 7:08am |

slightly off-topic, anyone with an R56 that wants a cat-back before the tune, I'm looking to trade my 3" Alta cat-back for a stock exhaust. Running a louder 2.5" system now, but want a spare stock system.

If we are talking 07 Cabrio maybe other wise I believe you will have to rip your battery box out. John |

unfortunately completely different animals, not that you'd want a 3" exhaust on an R53

Hey there, Jan said my car just needs minor fuel trim adjustments so it wouldn't take long. So count on me being quick if that helps anyone...

Well if I could be squeezed into the list, it's a R50 with Borla & CAI.

Not to speak for Jan, but I would "assume" mine would be quick. Surely not an hour and half. I actually planned on showing up first day, thinking he could just fit me in between slots.

I hope Greg can convince Jan of the need for an extra day of tuning. Seems like the demand is there. Still curious what the cost will be.

I'm curious, too.
Also, just to throw it out there as a possibility, is there anyone on Saturday that might want to trade to Friday? I'm thinking that I should keep that option open, in case I can't get the day off work. |

I have 6:30 Friday. Would that work better for you than your 12:30 slot? If so, I'll swap ya... |

I kinda like the 6:30 Saturday time a bit better. 6:30 Friday is somewhat appealing, but not as much as the Saturday slot. Maybe we should make that change.
