Just for fun I'm going to run over to Wallace Falls tomorrow morning. ~9am.
I'll bring my camera but my Dog-pilot went with step-dad... should be a fun trip, I'll share pics when I'm back Trip was inspired by missing both MMW and my g/f's brothers BBQ over the week. All are welcome to join.. Edited by no.9 - June/22/13 at 7:37pm |

Watch for the van on the shoulder in the Centralia/Chehalis area....photo radar is still there. Usually on the inside shoulder since it can look in both directions at the same time.

Thank you, both!
Insomniacing and switching it up again - going to go hike around Wallace Falls state park, then head somewhere for lunch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trip went well! Hiked ~4 miles roundtrip around Wallace Falls park. Great roads. Pictures soon! and a reminder (will post in my hockey thread too) about Game 5 tomorrow night at 5pm, NHL Finals. I'll be at the Angry Beaver with a friend.

^ Paradise Lake road just outside of Maltby. ^ Bridge on Mann road. ^ Parked @ Wallace Falls, ready to hike. ^ the Trailhead. ^ Viewpoint under the power lines. ^ Wordsworth. Made this my new FB background picture thingy. ^ Looking back at the first bridge. ^ Small Falls. ^ Stubby, mossy branches caught my eye. ^ Olympic viewpoint. ^The 2 forks of the river meeting. ^ Loved these steps on the trail. ^ Liked the bridges, the mist was awesome. ^Looking up at the top from the picnic area. ^ Yeah, don't do that. ^ Lowest viewpoint from the picnic area. ^ Middle Falls, see the sign? ^ Difficult trail up to the top, yeah, I turned around here ^ Ben Howard road, heading home. ^ and Paradise Lake road again, heading home.

Great pics! I'm soaking up nature just looking at them! I love the moss covered branches too.
Years ago I saved a newspaper aritcle about Wallace Falls, but still haven't made it there. Looks like I may have to go. Thanks for sharing.

Your picture with the falls in the background and the rapids in the foreground is really good. I looked at it for a long time and enjoyed it a lot.
