It was our pleasure.  I'm glad we were able to help her out.  Big smile

I'm thrilled she decided to join me for the Exotic car meet up at the Redmond Town Center (RTC) last weekend.  I believe she had a chance to meet quite a few MINI friends.  I'm also happy those tires fit in my MINI so she could follow us down to our home afterwards to have us put them on.  Shocked  It's amazing what you can fit in a MINI!  LOL

Dear all,

In case if you're still curious about my worn out tires...

Finally I got new tires and wheels.  John will help me posting the pictures here soon (Thank you for your help John).  I was taking these pictures while it was raining, so I couldn't do any better job.  But at least you know how they look like.

Thank you very much Jack & Linda (CINIMIN) for giving me a decent offer on these tires and wheels. The ride is a lot more comfy than before.

I also would like to thanks Brenda and Steve who help me to replace these tires on Saturday as well.

I am very appreciated with all your help and support!

Thanks,

Tina

Tina

I would need to know the second number. 215/35-18's will fit but will ride real hard.

Hi John,

I know someone has run flat 18 inches but the size is 215, I don't know if it would fit.  What do you think?

Hi Tina

Your wheels will fit most cars with 4 x100 bolt pattern, is that what you where asking. You has a stock 18 in and the size of tire that comes on it is a 205/40-18

Thank you Brenda!

Thank you John and Pat!

I just took some more pictures and upload it in photobucket. I hope these pictures are easy to see.  The pictures are taken from front left and front right tires.  I just found out that the right front mud flap is missing, where can I get one of this to replace?  Which wrecking yard should I go to find stuff for the Mini?

Oh John,  the link that you gave me doesn't work (who does paint and repair).  Can you do a quick double check?
Thank you for sending me the link of the tires; I would feel more comfortable to buy tires where I can pick them up, so I will let this chance pass.

Thank you very much.

Tina

P.S.: Here is the link of the tires John.

Hi Tina, No Problem , no hurries or worries just wanted to dubble check something when youget the pictures. I am on moble right now and it is hard for me to to look some things up, I know I can find the person that does that kind of repair when I get home. But my guess is Brenda will most likely remember who it was and post it before I get home tonight.

Thanks Tina. Pat (OnRamp) has a very good shop that works on Minis. From your picture it almost looks like it could be fixed with dentless repair. We have some one in the club here that does that, anyone remember who?

Pat what is the name of your body shop that you use for Jo's Mini?

Hi Tina,

CrySo sorry to see the photo of your Mini.  I've used Metro Auto Rebuild South, 3845 S Warner, Tacoma - (253) 474-0736 (very close to the new Griot's location) for some work on our daughter's Mercedes.  They also work on BMWs so I suspect they are good with Minis as well.  We were very happy with the work and, in particular, the painting.

Good luck!!!

Hi Tina,
I live in Fircrest, so am pretty close to you. I am also retired, so have lots of time. If you wish, I will look your tires and car over so you can make a decision about a course of action to fix said problems.
If this sounds ok to you, let me know via the forum or PM so we can work out the details.

Brenda, thanks for the reply all the way from some warm spot in Mexico. I was able to fine an old tire. Discount tire put it on for me so, back on the road.  I ordered the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 from Discount, like you said the same price as Tire Rack but no shipping in exchange for WA sales tax. Good deal. Should have them in 4 days.  Your Yokohama S Drives look good and price is very good. Thanks again, have fun. Rob

Rob,

I am in Mexico right now...  and won´t be back until Friday night.  Sorry for not getting back to you.  I have the Yokohama S Drive on my MINI with 17 inch rims.  I bought them at Discount Tire as they almost matched what Tire Rack had to offer (although I did have to pay tax).  I hope that helps...

Adios,
Brenda
