I just finished watching the video. Good stuff. About 60-65% of the public commenters were in favor of the proposed expansion of the track. 

Proponents highlighted safety, business/tax revenue and jobs. 
Opponents highlighted environmental issues, noise, and fairness of making exceptions to existing rules for the benefit of one business.
