I've searched a few different ways and don 't seem to be able to find any info on a Baker drive this year.

Is there one? Or did I miss it?

Road to Artist's Point is not going to open this year - too much snow!

I was up there last week on my motorcycle and even the small lakes near the ski area are still covered with ice and snow.  Still, a nice ride/drive and the road is completely snow-free up to the lifts.  You could always run up to Mt. Baker and then back down again to Maple Falls, turn off and head for the park at Silver Lake.  Plenty of parking, picnic tables and restrooms there.  It's on my usual motorcycle route I ride every week, weather permitting.

We just did the Maple Falls to Silver Lake to Everson loop on scooters last weekend. Throw in Mosquito Lake road on the way up and it would be a great Mini drive. Add Chuckanut on the way home and you have a full day

Are you talking about the Wanderlust tour that H&R puts on?
This years event is on August 20th. More details here:
http://www.hrsprings.com/wanderlust/events/

I went last year with a few friends. They drove their 997 Turbo's. There are a large variety of cars that go and I believe we had 75-100 cars last year. It was a great drive. I'm trying to go this year again, but might have a conflicting event....

No. There used to be a drive to Mt Baker with PSMINI and the Vancouver club. I'm not involved in the Vancouver club anymore so thought I would check here.

Guess no one set a joint drive up this year. Maybe next year.

There might be a drive around the Mt. Baker area later this year - September / October.  Artist Point road will not be open this year because of snow.  Or, someone in that area might set up a drive earlier - keep checking!
