I have a 2013 R58 factory JCW Coupe. Looking for an intake. I really like the looks, included parts and reviews of the NM intake. Looking for knowledge and experience from club members. Any reason to pick something different from this model?

It supposed to be a pretty solid intake system. I purchased the Alta. Its good, but if I had to choose again, I'd probably go NM too.

JCW is the BMW //M version of the Cooper S.  You are going to have a difficult time finding any 'leftover' performance while keeping the car streetable.
Now if you are just going for looks and sound, there isn't any reason not to do it.

Is the JCW ECU tune comparable to what people are getting aftermarket for their non JCW Cooper S?
I have heard that the Gen 2 platform gives a ton of power just from doing a tune.

Having said that, your biggest bang for buck in terms of hardware for a Gen 2 platform is a larger front mount intercooler, if there is one available for your application.
