Great pics and nice looking ride!  Thumbs%20Up

We can see your MINI is not lonely.  Ever have any group drives or events?  Too bad there's a big puddle between us.  I'd be up for a drive over your way.

Hi!
No group drives yet! Hopefully in WA will be the first one. We did few Pulley parties and we went to the Hockenheim Ring and the famous Nurburgring race tracks.

Wow, nice photos...  and thanks for sharing.  How awesome that you got to drive your very own Mini over there!  Smile  Do the other MINIs in the one photo you posted belong to your friends?

Just how fast have you driven your Mini?  I thought the autobahn has speed limits, but I don't remember what they were in MPH.  I believe it was 130 km/hour (about 80 mph?).  Am I wrong about the limit or is there none?

Dude - NICE haircut.  I can really appreciate the look.  When you get here, PM me about the high speed drivers ed programs we have at various tracks in the area.  Hopefully that will fix your need for speed.

Welcome to the group.

Thank you for your service to our country  and be safe (back when I was in, we got things thrown at us and spit on when we came back.  Time heals all, though...).

Hi!

Yes, the other Minis belong to my friend. We went to the Nurburgring race track. One lap on the Ring is 14 miles and at 21 euros per lap driving thru the mountains. The race track is open to the public on Sundays from 8am till 5pm. We were 3 Minis from Heidelberg, one from Kaiserslaughtern, and one from the Netherlands, all Americans trying to get together for a common passion the MINIs.

Here in Germany the recommended speed is 130KPH on the Autobahn but you can drive faster at your own risk. My Mini is capable of 168 MPH in the Autobahn because I have not speed limiter. You will find areas on the autobahn with 100 KPH, 80 KPH, 60 KPH...  So, this is the place where  the Polizei are waiting for you to speed and get you a nice picture and hefty speeding ticket.

So, What does Hapa Haole means?

Hi!

I still have family there. Puerto Rico is nice but like other places you need to know where to go to stay out of trouble. So, were in WA you have to be careful to not get your Mini stolen?  Henry

Hi! Johnf36,

I'm very happy with the MiniPowerprog software. All my mod has been installed by my self.

1. 17% Alta V2 pulley

2. Henry's modified bypass valve.

3. Detroit tuned tensioner cable stopper.

4. Ian’s Curls windows auto up.

5. KP technologies all windows remotely close (I made a good How To and I can help with the installations just let me know) This is my favorite MOD.

6. Alta CAI

7. Alta intercooler boots

8. Mini Alarm

9. Mini driving lights

10. Borla Race exhaust

Thank you for your service to this country.  Blessings to you...

Hi  John!

Yes, I got the Minipowerprog software and it works perfect. In the box you will receive a CD with the software, and the cable to connect to the OBD2 port on the Mini. You will need a laptop to connect it to the OBD2 port. Run the program and it will ask you for the Modification currently on your car, like 15% pulley, CAI, Cat Back etc... Then it will take around 10 minutes to read your Mini stock file. You need to have wireless active to send the file for modification to the Minipowerprog Team at that moment or save it to your hard drive and send it in an e-mail to them as an attachment. After 24 hours you will receive a Modified file, connect your laptop back to your Mini and upload the new file, after 10 minutes it will tell you that the Mini it is good to go and that you now can disconnect the cables and start your car. It is dummy proof. I have had this software for the last 3 years. At any time you can put the original file back to your Mini. I took my car for service here and the BMW never detected the software. Henry

The RPM will stay at 6500 because they do not like to mess with the RPM's.
