A few of us are going out to PGP for their lapping day on the 10th of August. You can runn the full day or half day depending on funds or availability. More info can be found here:

Bring your own car and drive the PGP kart track. Maximum of 30 cars will be allowed for the day. Pre-register early to reserve your spot. Gates open at 8:00 am. The drivers will be divided into run groups based on experience level. The first run group will start at 9:00 am. Each session last 15-minutes. You will get about 6-7 driving sessions for the day. That sounds like a blast. Unfortunately I'm already scheduled to be on track at Pacific Raceways (right next door) on Aug 11. I'm sure the wife would get cranky if I was gone two days in a row.

The weather is looking good for this wednesday. I picked up a helmet last week and am having a 4 point harness installed tomorrow!

Buying a helmet is a good sign. Will we be seeing you at the driving events over at Pacific Raceways?? There are two  PCA track days in September and a one BMW day as well!
