At the Haulin More Wine in a Mini than should be in a Mini   I noticed something disturbing.... I saw quite a few Mini's that looked like Radio Controlled Cars. This was discussed in the past and was taken care of, but I see that we have let most if not all of the new members slip thru the cracks....That being said, I seemed to have lost my PSMini.org SHORTY Antenna and was wondering if PSMini Officers still have some forsale? If so may I have 1st dibs otherwise, I think it would be cool if we could get another run of Shorty Antenna's made!Tristan PS.. .Did I give mine away to someone and I just can't remember? Last week, I accidentally wandered into an online (MINI Accessories) store which sold the shorter antennas and I almost got one but I realized I like the default look. The shorter antenna not only looks cute and compact but also like someone chopped off what was something more - I'll probably buy the short version and keep both.

Why not go to your local honda dealership and buy the S2000 antenna from the parts dept? It fits, and it's like $14 methinks.  -------------

You can do that if you'd like. The Antenna that I'm talking about will have PSMini.org engraved on it and looks sharp. I spoke with Kellen yesterday and there is a one time set of fee of $20 and then after that there is no minimum on how many we order. I'll start a list and once we've gotten a couple I'll get this done. Pricing..... They cost about $20 regular and the Engraving costs about $2 but we get a 10% discount since we're members of PSMini so it will work out to around $20..... Tristan ------------- MINI-less... The setup charges from CravenSpeed are for time the progam is setup. They do not save the program, the machine can not do that or they will not do it. It is also lining up the part for the stencil. ------------- Dave MINI-Rolls |

From here, what needs to be done is I'll need payment up front from Everyone, cuz I can't foot the bill. Second, I need a central location for the finished Antenna's to be shipped to... First of all, THANKS for putting this all together . . .I think we're all excited about our PSMINI antennas!
Just a thought: What if everyone sent you a check, made payable to you . . . along with the check they include their address on a piece of paper (business card size piece) that you could then tape to one of those little padded envelopes. (The small envelopes are pretty reasonable at several office supply places, or at Kinkos or the Post Office, and I believe you can buy them individually or maybe in a box of 25)
It shouldn't be too awful to tape each address to an envelope, especially if you get the wide scotch tape - one piece would do it over a business card size paper.
The checks you receive would include the total price of the antenna, and your additional costs divided equally: the envelope, tape and postage.
To make it easier on yourself, you could have a deadline for receiving payment, then mail them all at once.
Just some thoughts. Cheers!

We need to get all the bumps smoothed out, but you should be able to pay directly to the club's PayPal Account and they'll be a great HUB for getting the antenna's out. Yes, the club is going to take over the group buy on these and between Ina and I we'll get them ordered and provide a way for you to pay. Give me until next week to clear a couple things off this pile of paper I call a desk and we'll get it going asap so you can all have them in time for the car show. OK?
I'll close requests and shoot to have them ordered the end of next week, so if you are on the fence, jump over. With the club doing this, we would normally have asked that everyone be a PSMINI Member to get the discounted price (one of those member benefits we try for), but since that wasn't made part of the deal in the beginning, I will leave it as-is for this purchase. Fair?

I heard back from Crqven Speed today. This is the price breakdown they sent:
Image Setup = $20
32 Antennae -10% = 575.71
shipping =11.81
Total = 607.52
Total Each = 18.99 (18.985)
So, the cost per antenna is going to be $19.00 which is a very good deal.
( Note: They are giving a 10% discount plus waiving the $1.00 per antenna charge)
The bad thing is they are out of stock on the antennas and will not have more in for a few weeks, They will let me know sometime this week when we can expect them. I am going to comit to our order when I receive that information but I'm going to request that we be able to ADD additional antennas. Ok - here we go. We are placing the order with Craven Speed for the antennas for everyone listed above plus a few extras for the club. They will honor our price for any additional antennas up until they actually are ready to etch them. Since they are waiting for stock, the order will be slightly delayed.
Cost per antenna will be $19.00. If you want it shipped to you, it will be an additional $1.50. We will let everyone know when they arrive and arrange for pickup at an event (probably the car show, but maybe sooner). Be sure to include your address if you want to have it shipped to you.

Oops, meant BreNda. The funny thing about leaving out the N is that Breda is my beloved dog's name, pronounced brayduh (for a town in the Netherlands). Sorry for the typo, but know that in my world (hers too) it's quite a compliment as she is a very special dog and is starting training to be a therapy dog.
