Has anyone installed Puddle Lights in a second gen? I'm looking at the GoBadges lights but I'm concerned the projected image will be distorted from heat if I leave the door open too long.

We have them in our R58. They work well, but it looks like they will only last 2-3 years. They are a little over a year old and are starting to fade. Still worth it. I will probably replace them when they get too faded since I like the look.

I'd be more concerned about killing your battery (like I did) if you leave the doors open too long!Shocked

Sounds like you need a new battery... These are LED if I'm not mistaken and should draw very little even if you leave the door open for a long time. My guess, it was all of the other interior lights that did you in.
