Radios and GMRS frequencies

   I picked up my new Cobra radios (PR 3550WX) from Wal-Mart for $49.99 in
time for the Port to Port drive. They have a 10-mile range, use
rechargeable or standard batteries, desktop charging unit, hands free
earbud/mic, are water resistant, and have many other features.

I plan on becoming licensed with the FCC to use the higher power GMRS
frequencies and have already downloaded the forms. Has anyone else
become licensed for GMRS frequencies? Is PSMINI.org licensed as a group
to operate the GMRS frequencies during our group drives?
