Hey MINI beer enthusiast friends! Please join me for a motor from Poverty Bay to Des Moines ending up at the 2nd Annual Poverty Bay Beer Festival.

 

What:  BEER tasting!  Event includes complimentary beer glass and 6 tasting tokens.  Additional tasting tokens available for $1.00 each. For more information click here or to purchase advance tickets online click here.

 

When:  Saturday, September 10, 2011, 11:00 am.

 

Meet at 11:00 am: Salty’s at Redondo, 28201 Redondo Beach Dr. S., Des Moines, WA 98198

 

Dress:  Casual MINI attire.

 

Bring a Lawn Chair. Limited seating.

 

Tickets:  $25 in advance $30 at the door.

 

Festival Location: Des Moines Beach Park, 22030 Cliff Ave S , Des Moines, WA 98198

 

Festival Hours:
noon to 7 pm

 

Featured Entertainers:

12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Little Bill and the Blue Notes

1:45 pm - 3:00 pm - Rod Cook & Toast

3:30 pm - 4:45 pm - Fabulous Roofshakers

5:15 pm - 6:45 pm - Left Hand Smoke

 

While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market and the Poverty Bay Arts Festival.

 

The Rotary Club of Des Moines makes a difference in this community. Proceeds benefit Music4Life.

Larry and I enjoyed this last year and will try to come again. But Allison shouldn't the tickets be cheaper in advance?

Hi Leanne - I know the price is a little high for advance tickets although we're paying about $4,000 for the bands so we have to make sure to cover our costs before we give the rest of the loot to the kids. Hope that answers your question.

Alison, it seems strange to pay less at the door than in advance. It's kind of contrary from the norm. If that's the case, we'll get our tickets at the door.
