So glad you were all able to make it!  We had a great time and it was an amazing parade!  Mary and Chris:  what an awesome job of decorating you did!

We really enjoyed having a chance to visit with everyone and I want to hear more about how the Hurricane Ridge run went!  Pictures?  How long did it take you up and back?

Great day and Sooper you are welcome anytime any place!  Be safe and be well!

Don't have too many but here's a couple...
Not sure who might have timed the run up....but don't think it was too long.  We didn't stay long..cold, so took some photos and headed back down.

I know many others have better photos but....just a taste.

We could not have had more perfect weather!  We had a great time as always.  Chris and Mary-the breakfast gathering was a wonderful idea and it was yummy!  It was nice for once not to have to take the ferry for an event!  Speaking of which, Sooper-great timing and we were glad you made it. We hope to see you at future events.  Be safe whereever you are being deployed.

Soggy's sprinkler and wipers certainly got a lot of attention as did Minicommittee's (no such thing as over-the-top at parades!).  With all that weaving Tombo kept it all down (he waited till we got home-good boy).  Tombo actually decided to be a real "participant" this time.

I admit I do not know who coordinated this event but a HUGE thank you and great job!  Sorry we couldn't hang around afterwards but it's great to see others did and made more time for more fun.

Cheers!

First of all a big thank you to Michael for organizing this and getting this show on the road. Sequim really has a great festival and the parade was great fun! Nice work. It was nice meeting your wife and your son Mathew. He looks to be a future MINI driver as well!

Everyone did a great job getting into the spirit and decorating up the MINIs. A crowd favorite as usual! I'll was trying to post some pictures, but i'm continuing to have problems with Comcast and our lovely router/modem. As soon as those bugs are worked out I'll post a few.

Sooper (Wesley) glad you made it for the run. Great meeting you and we will pray for a safe deployment for you and your squadron to Iraq. Please keep us posted and say hello on the forums when you have some down time.

Cheers!

We had a GREAT time!  Thank you Michael for getting us to Sequim for this really fun parade. I don't remember seeing so many spectators at a parade before, and I loved those nice wide streets for our weaves. I loved meeting the new (to me) MINI people, and seeing all those beautiful MINIs.

Thank you Silver Surfer crew for putting us on video. Thumbs Up  I look forward to seeing that!

Wow!  Gorgeous Hurricane Ridge photos! Sorry I missed that. We went to Port Gamble on the way to the Kingston ferry. What a beautiful time we had in that little town. Had lunch at the Tea Room - very delicious.

Here are some pics from the parade. Tongue

Great pictures Thumbs UpGenie B, Sooper, and MaryClap. So many weaves that day, it was almost like endless wavesDrive! Lots of fun, the Guard was soooo tired when they got home, not a yap for 6 hrs!
Movie is being made now and will be out soon, there's going to be lots weaving in this one, thinking of calling it "WUV-N-WEAVE EM". Thanks all for a great day.

Great pics everyone!!  Thumbs Up  Did anyone get a pic of Stephen's homemade portable sprinkler?  That was way too cool Stephen! Star  BowDown  minicommittee (Mary and Chris) - I was so ashamed by my MINI being so naked when compared with your MINI.  That display on your roof was AMAZING!  I'm so jealous...

Wow, what a day!!  I'm so glad we had a quiet night at work Friday night/Saturday morning.  I honestly thought I'd be too tired for the 2-hr drive, but I was pleasantly surprised to have a restful night.  Driving a MINI is so much fun anyway, so it didn't even feel like I was on the road for over 5-hrs.  Wink

I wish I could've joined you all on the drive to Hurricane Ridge, but I needed to get back and take my Mom out for an early Mother's Day dinner since I'm working today.  Hopefully next year I don't have to work before and after Mother's Day so I can participate in the parade and a drive to Hurricane Ridge.  Approve

See ya'll on the next gathering....

I love the photo of the drivers by their MINIs in front of that Awesome view of Hurricane Ridge! Thumbs Up

I was thinking that we had all generations and models represented (new MINI anyway) in the Parade:  Classics, Cooper, S, Convertible, Clubman . . . very cool Clap

Hope everyone got to enjoy the continuation of the incredible weather on Sunday!

Cheers!

Good show, everyone!  Thanks for participating and improving the look of the parade.  The drill team sure put in a lot of turns to dazzle the crowd.  Looking forward to the next one....

Genie:

The art/photography was very good!  The rear view mirror and reflection shots came out great!
Somehow Brenda managed to get photos of The Guard with their Doggles on; I tried several times but failed in all attempts.
Sooper, thanks for the photos of the drive up the mountain to Hurricane Ride.

We are looking forward to the video of our first "Mini Weave" and our first Parade.

Happy motoring!
