What a fun time!  Lee had never held a golf club of any kind and still had a good time.  The music was good and the course fun, I highly recommend it for all ages.

If Dave Is Not Here, yet he won, how did he do it??!!

The Trophy is presented to the winnerWooHoo

Here is how quick one can fall from a pedestal...

Lee using a golf club for the very first time!

Calvin and Brenda trying to figure out the lay of the green (black).

The last hole looked sooo easy going into it but was soooo tough to do!

This was the pattern of the carpet.  In 3d it really jumps off the floor at you!

A new to Washington Mini with a rare color showed up and I forgot to get the owners name!  Old people forget stuff...

The pain is over and now time to celebrate.

The traffic was TERRIBLE  on the drive north.  Had I listened to the radio BEFORE WE LEFT OLYMPIA we would have taken the road through Shelton.  We tried to wait out the traffic in Cabelas and who did we run into?  Calvin and Brenda!!!  Amazing how Mini Minds think alike.

Looks like a fun time - and even an invite to return!  Next time maybe we can make it - couldn't have made today even if it was right next door!

I see that by the last hole Lee was using two clubs - is that fair?

Lee might be short, but she is resourceful!!  Toward the end of the game she was holding the club like a hockey stick doing a big slap shot!  Incoming!!!!!!!

Thanks, David, for all the kind words you have for our MINIs and for getting us together.  Steve, your pictures were great.  Glad someone caught them.  That new California MINI belongs to Stacie and Bruce.  Old members, new car.  Hadn't done mini golf in a long time and the black light 3D stuff was a lot of fun.  Had a great time.  The Fantastic Four commando guard were stealthily at work trying to keep the sacred balls from going down the glowing hole and were highly successful until Bagheera, Imperial Guard MINI Cooper Open-Top Fantastic Four Commander, received word that the goal was to get the ball into the hole.  They quickly retreated into the shadows and enjoyed the show.  Maybe Admiral Cho Cho can better relate the post-mission report he received from the Fantastic Four.

We also got to meet a newcomer to the group -- Larry (rglarry).  Maybe Shankz will be a new MINI owner soon after the ride he took with Calvin (grape ape)!

That was definately a lot of fun!  We tried to get David to consider opening one in Kitsap, but he said no...he might in Seattle, where they're more active....(I beg to differ, but oh well...maybe he needs introduced to Kitsap as well as mini's).

We really enjoyed chatting with others we haven't met before...Larry and Trish and Grape Ape.

Great photos!

The only reason I say Seattle is so many of our customers are from there and surrounding areas as well. But, Olympia works well also since it is central to almost everywhere.

Heres the MINI purchase update:

For myself, I'm not sure yet. But, after my youngest daughter watched (and heard) Calvin and I take off for a drive....she was sold! She asked me today if she could work some more so she could save more money. She's only 13 and thought it was cool that the speedo's go to150mph. Maybe leaving half the tires on the pavement wasn't such a smart idea? Haha.

The next time we all meet again you'll know where the gray hair came from!

Fun day everyone and I hope we can do it again in the future.

Dave

Thanks for the fun time! We have never played 3D golf before. What a great time we had. I love the collection of autographed guitars you have on the walls. We will be back for more fun very soon. Glad you got to go for a ride with me but I need to take you somewhere where there is some twisty windy roads to give you the real Mini experience. Again thanks for the invite and we will look forward to seeing you again soon. Drive

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

Hey everyone! I wasn't sure where to post this...but...I just got word that.....

The Ventures will be playing at Snoqualmie Casino in Nov. 13th @ 3:00. Tim (Don's son) has some cool Venture guitar packages that include everything from the guitar, amp and gig bag. He said anyone that wants to pick-up a package and meet at the casino, he will arrange  for autographs and photos.

If anyone is interested, just let me know and I will put you in touch with Tim directly.
