I was in Wenatchee this morning with the satellite truck.  It was very smoky, to the point that I threw my clothes in the washer when I got home because they smelled like a forest fire.  I've never seen smoke that thick hang in the air like that.  If you are at all sensitive to smoke due to respiratory problems consider skipping this drive or at least bring a mask of some sort.

Also-  Snoqualmie Pass will be closed Saturday morning from 7am to 8:30 am at Hyak (in our direction) for blasted rock removal or something like that.  Shouldn't affect us because we are leaving North Bend at 8 but there might be a bit of residual slow downs as traffic gets moving again after the closure.

See you tomorrow!

All of that smoke has made for some beautiful sunrises here on the west-side of the mountains at least. :)
