Hi Greg! Sorry you missed this drive. It was kind of a spur of the moment drive. We welcome any ideas for drives at anytime. If you have an itch for a drive and want to propose something and don't see anything conflicting on the calendar, feel free to throw it out there in the suggested drives thread and you are bound to find that 5, 10, or 20 or more cars will be ready to join in for a day of fun! :)

Wow... - we missed this. (I wasnt' aware until I started poking around the site tonight). (My wife and I are new to the clan as of 1 March). And - I don't believe I saw this on the calendar.... maybe I need some instruction or reading??? Idea. Looking at the list of events - I don't see one we can attend until May! How often do these 'we need a drive drive' things pop up? We'd love the chance to meet some of you all in person!

So far - in 6 days - we have 575 miles on the Mini (Max). We did a run up to Stevens pass Saturday - just for grins. (Wish we had known about this group-drive).
Thanks for any guidance!

Oh yes!  Dust off that FRS radio.  Convertible owners should check their top-down motors.  Lets get together and go.

By the way, we're in.

Martin,

I'm sure you realized long ago that Anne is the inspiration behind your success.  It's good that she's also in charge of the alarm clock!

The route sounds good.  I'll get to revisit some back roads used in the past during my search for a patch of dirt.  We could go mapless and hope for the best!

LOL Bruce. Anne said the same thing about sleeping in..that's why I pushed in out until 9:30. :)  I'll try and get a high level map up of the route if I can figure out how. Basically it takes back roads in a big loop from Issaquah to Fall City to Carnation to Duvall to Monroe to near Granite Falls to Machias/Snohomish to Maltby to Woodinville to Sammamish back to Issaquah. Phew! :)

Unlike the handsome devil that Linda married, diligently I strive to preserve what little I have to work with.  Three days of vacation starting this morning is just what the doctor ordered.

Very tempting, as the start time does not encroach too much into the last stage of my beauty sleep.  Will the route remain a secret until start time?

Ok folks! You asked for it..and you've got it. We all need to break out of our winter doldrums and warm up the motors. Let's kick it off with a 100 mile romp starting at the Krispy Kreme in Issaquah. Start time is 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 6th. Get there a little early to chat and have some coffee and doughnuts. I'll have route maps for everyone. Just bring your FRS radio and and your motoring spirit for a good time. The drive will also end in Issaquah so easy in and out no matter where you are from. Who's in?!?! Let's Motor!
