We are planning two member meetings this coming Saturday, April 17th.   

10:00 - 11:30 AM  Burien Library - Multipurpose Room

The 2010 Board of Directors will be present to answer questions and to discuss current topics.

·         Q&A and open discussion

HI...
I am new to the club and never been to a member meeting before.  What takes place at these meetings?  As I live in Olympia it is a little bit of a drive for me.   How important is this and if someone else is going from the Oly area maybe we could car pool?

Actually Steve this is the first "open" meeting that we have had since I've been a member. The Board has been working to try and schedule several general meetings each year and this will be the first one. The Board will be going over club-related agenda items (events, finances, Q&A, etc.) as we do in our regular Board meetings but this one is open to the general membership if they are interested in sitting in. We will be also available to answer any questions you might have on any topic as well as soliciting feedback on agenda items.

Just wondering, if we go to the 2nd (Redmond) meeting, will we hear highlights (from the Q&A, etc.) from the Burien meeting?

Yes - we want to meet and greet!  Membership meetings have been something we've wanted to accomplish for over a year now.  We want to get ideas from you and find out what you'd like going forward. 
 
We will publish what we hear and discuss shortly after the meetings.
