PSMINI Family Picnic - Sunday, August 14th Jack and I have once again reserved Camp Patterson on Silver Lake and look forward to hosting the 3rd Annual PSMINI Family Picnic. The picnic is located at Thornton A. Sullivan Park / Camp Patterson, 11405 Silver Lake Road, Everett, WA 98208. Map to location. We will have the big field up and to the left of the swimming area near the big parking area. You will find a gate off the parking area that we will mark so you can drive inside. Oh, if you are a party of two or more, you can take the Left Hand exit to the park-n-ride at 112th, exit up the ramp and turn L at the light and then R at the next light and be right by the park. Last year David and Kelly put together a pre-picnic drive that started at 11:00 from Frost Doughnuts in Mill Creek Town Center and concluded at the picnic location by 1pm for festivities there. We'll work on them to see if we can get them to do it again as well as more games as they put together last year! They were a blast and I know there's some rematches pending! This is intended to be a relaxing, low key, fun event giving you a chance to kick back, savor a potluck picnic lunch and enjoy being with others as MINI crazy as you are! Set aside Sunday, August 14 - it will be a fun day! We will have inside the fence parking on a grassy area for our cars, a private sheltered picnic area with a huge bbq grill, electricity and a prep sink - covered eating areas, lots of space, our own restrooms, swimming and boating activities for all ages, and a big playground for the kids. The area is ours from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM A couple of caveats, due to the rules of the Everett Parks Department. Because it's a public swimming beach, I'm afraid pets must sit this event out.  Also, we'll need to stick to non-alcoholic beverages. Lake swimming with lifeguards present are an optional activity, along with the children's play area. You can also rent or bring your own kayak or other small boat. Unfortunately, no pets on this side of the lake due to the swimming beach. Big grassy area, 3 shelters, and our own private restrooms. Let's fill it up with some fun! |

Ok, everyone! We're a couple of weeks away and time to get serious, especially since Jack and I are heading to MITM this weekend and won't be back until right before the picnic. With that in mind, let us know if you're coming so we can buy the right amount of supplies.
PSMINI will provide the burgers, hot dogs, and condiments, but please bring either a side dish, a dessert or non-alcoholic drinks to share. We could use a couple of big coolers with ice as well. Bring your chairs and join us! David and Kelly will put us through our paces and we'll all have a blast! |

No Fees - this is a gift from Linda and me to the club. All we ask is that people bring a little extra for the potluck, spend some time getting to know others in the club, and have fun in the park. MINI Parking is inside a fenced in grassy area.

As of now I am scheduled to work that day from 2-8:30 :( But I am also trying to get out of my current job and should know soon if I landed a new one. If I accept that job I will have weekends free. I would really like to attend this.
