How about a get together to celebrate the first Saturday of the Summer?  It's been a while... + we have some new MINIs and new members to meet, so...
 
Time:  ~ 9:00 am
Where:  333 Strander Blvd., Tukwila, WA (Southcenter, at the parking lot by Starbuck's just south off of Strander Blvd. and east of the Target Store, the Starbuck's across from Strander and the Olive Garden)
 
 
5 race wins, 2 in the rain. 2nd in ICSCC G Production Championship 2005 and 2006. Now I'm just gonna drive the MINI.

Well, I didn't get the car washed but since it will still be raining tomorrow I'm still going for coffee.

For those on the east side, and I apologize for sending this out so late, here is the route I am taking:
Issaquah to South Center

This is the scenic/sunday motorer route. Speeds will be slow (some spots 25mph) as it wonders through a number of neighborhoods but it's a much nicer drive than 405. I don't know if I've done this _exact_ route before but I've done most of it and I much prefer it over the 405.

You must let me know here if you want to join me. I'll check for responses in the AM. If someone, anyone, responds, I'll meet you at the Issaquah Park & Ride (the one off of 900/Renton/17th Road _not_ the one in the highlands) at 8AM otherwise I'm just going to bypass the P&R and be on my way. This route takes about an hour to get into SouthCenter depending on the lights in Renton.

Here is the starting address, 8AM, respond if you'll be there, please remember your radio:
     1050 17th Avenue Northwest
     Issaquah, WA

Also, this is a PB4UGO (Pee Before You GO) event as the starting point has no bathrooms.

Cool of you to post this route!  Thumbs Up  Can't go tomorrow, but very often traveling from Issaquah to South Center, and always prefer a route other than 405.

If I get a chance this morning I'll come out. I want to try and make most of our meets so I can get more familiar with everyone. I have a birthday party in Covington later today but since noone is awake before 11am I should be able to come say 'hi" to my fellow mini owners.

Is there an easier way to track with threads I have posted in? Like maybe a quick link or something?

Thanks to everyone that showed up!  We had 10 MINIs including Leanne's new S and a week old JCW too.  And you need to check out Pat's (onramp) new painted on stripes that are really cool.  We managed to shoot the breeze for a couple of hours without getting wet.  Drove into a monsoon on the way home but that's the way it goes (until July 5).  We need to do this more often.
5 race wins, 2 in the rain. 2nd in ICSCC G Production Championship 2005 and 2006. Now I'm just gonna drive the MINI.

My plane home from D.C. was canceled last night due to bad weather, and when I hit the run way in Seattle this morning I texted Pat to see if you were still meeting, but the party had just broken up.  Maybe next time.

My 10:00 appoinment - for which I had to miss the coffe - was a no show.  I could'a been there.  That storm finally got to Everett this afternoon - heavy rain (several accidents within a short time), wind (knocked trees down blocking I-5 and other locations).  Isn't it suposed to be Summer?
