The drive from North Bend, Ellensburg and the Canyon Road route to Miners gets our vote!! Crikket has a bad case of "garage fever" and busting out for a drive across the pass sounds perfect!

We could do a North Bend Meet-up, I-90 to Cle Elum, back roads (Highway 10) from Cle Elum to Ellensburg, Canyon Road to Yakima and Lunch with Tristan at Miners (depending on conditions at the Pass)
A shorter drive alternitive: We could meet Tristan and other East siders at the Red Horse Diner in Ellensburg for Lunch.

I would vote for a Peninsula run as well.
Only one suggestion: Since many of us will be attending the March 7 , Des Moines Wine Festival we will want some time on Saturday to get our cars spiffed up and looking good for Sunday. If you do Chuckacanut drive, why not just come up a few more miles to Birch Bay! We could all stop at either the state park or at C.J.'s or even continue to Semiamoo. (Disclaimer: Yea, I live in Birch Bay, and it would be a hoot to see my neighbors faces when 30+ Mini's possibly show up at my house for a pit stop)

I think a drive is just what everyone needs to shake off the winter blues and reconnect with each other. While I had the top down this weekend, I spent much of those great sunny days cleaning a VERY dirty MINI. Lets do something that's twisty. Chuckanut drive sounds good. One of the drives from Destination Highways would be cool. We have done a really nice one from Belfair to Hoods Canal if people want to come to the Peninsula, or we can do one over on the coast, where I got my last ticket.
Lets clear out our exhausts and go!

I took Creampuff out on Saturday. Did the Mountain Loop Hwy up to Verlot. What a gorgeous day! Lots of motorcycles were there too. Just made me love Mini's and MINI's all over again!

A drive really is therapeutic. Saturday I did Bremerton, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island. Sunday was Snohomish, LaConner, Stanwood. The Snow Geese were in the fields - how awesome to be under them when hundreds of them take flight! All the mountains were gorgeous. Beautiful, beautiful weekend in my MINI
