I guess that I need to update my list!
At this moment I've got 1" Lowering Springs, MM 22mm Rear Sway Bar, and a CAI.
I now HAVE to replace the Rotors and Pads which are on there way If anything else happens you'll know
MINI-less... If God allows, I will have one again some day. :D

Thanks to Dave and Rich, I now have a short shifter and while the MINI was jacked up, rotated tires.  I'm ready for track day.  Now if I could just drive/look like Danica Patrick ...

Lol....

I don't know if I've updated since trading Mini's!?
I've got Mini-Madness CAI, Lowering Springs, and a Mini-Madness Rear Sway Bar already installed. Today at Noon I'll have a Mini-Madness 15% and the front rotors and pads will be replaced with Slotted Rotors (OEM are worn out!) and EBC RED Ceramic pads.

Also, for those with worn sidewalls from previous track days? I called Les Schwab to have the tires rotated on the rims to get the fresh inside sidewalls put on the outside and they wanted $102 so by chance I called Costco and they did it for $10 a tire! That included balancing!!!!!!!!!! So yeah, the tires have been turned as well.
MINI-less... If God allows, I will have one again some day. :D

Yay, Costco! (ok, so I'm a little biased. 20 years with a company will do that
to you.) They don't have much selection, but their price is good and
their service is great.
I sure wish I could get some mods myself. Just turned over 67k miles
yesterday coming back from Quinault. (Ever take that road into Hoquiam??
Talk about fun! Wheee!)
I'm sure something is going to go soon, and when it does, there's my excuse
to upgrade! If I make it through Track Day unscathed, I'll be very happy.
So jealous of the "Mod Squad"!

Ok, I have helped few people get ready for track day so today is my day.  I decided to install the H&R Sway bar, well while taking off the tires I find the following;

Right rear tire first tire off and metal cords of the steel belt showing all around the inside edge of the tire.

Ok time for new tires....
Well I press on and change the sway bar, no problems an hour later sway bar on, torqued and looking good.

Now back to the tire issue.  I decided that inside if buying new tires for track the VW Golf's 17" ZR rated fairly new tires just become my track tires.  I will order some new tires and rims from the tire rack and put them on when they come in.

Here is the track tire;

Installed (with onramp's assistance) a m7 Under Strut System to tighten up the flex of the chassis and make the car track better around curves.  Talked with several individuals who have the USS and run track on a regular basis and it was their opinion that the USS was one of the most significant mods they have done that actually did benefit the handling of the car.  We will see............

And I dusted off my Piloti shoes......... wondering if I should break out the red ones...............

Don't have my own helmet........

I'm glad to hear that you found that out now rather than at the track. I already passed you once last year so lets not have that happen again

Update for me.....
The new rotors and pads are on! While checking everything out it was determined that the brake fluid was shot so that has been replaced as well.
Tomorrow the 15% gets installed! To bad it didn't get finished today No wait... I could wait until after Tuesday since I'm driving a Mini-Madness Stage 4 05' MCS around town today and tomorrow.. Life is TUFF!!! Lol.... Mooooooowwwaaaa ha ha!
Otherwise, I'm considering installing my OBX if I have time... And if George won't kill me for putting it on

I'm SOL for any upgrades.  R56 JCW kit should be coming in Tuesday, so no time for an install.

Looks like I'm going bone-stock and on run-flats to boot!

(Might as well get my excuses ready now )
